John's Gallery

JOHN WEBB although retired from architecture has continued to visualise, draw and paint. And naturally sometimes buildings creep into his view selection. An inveterate sketcher – he’s never without a sketchbook – he adds the immediacy of fast working to his bigger paintings.

He works in watercolour, sometimes with ink and preferably in the open air 'en plein air'.

Mixed exhibitions include GuardianWitness Awards 2014, Orange Tree Theatre, Chelsea Old Town Hall, Shoreditch Triangle Festival, Kingston Parish Church and The Malden Centre. His work - some commissioned - is included in several private collections.
